Suddenly reminded that Oh My Goddess! Exists and is pretty much total garbage, but it had a really cute representation of "system bugs"and that's the one thing I liked from it really. Maybe the fashion designs I guess. That's it though.

Belldandy only loves Keichi because he wished for it. she has no agency of her own and his throwaway wish literally enforces her love for him and engineers events to keep them together. Then her sisters show up and start vying for him too and just... yikes. YIKES.

@LANthus I am aware there is ONE comic at least which the wish becomes... null and void for a very brief period? like one day, and somehow it resolves itself that she still stays with him and doesn't leave him for whatever reason but it's one day out of at least MONTHS if I recall rightly where she's had this enforced upon her without any way to think otherwise other than "I love him"... it's fucking creepy on reflection D:

@LANthus at no point that I saw does the comic even attempt to really analyse this or anything it just sorta handwaves it as "lol she really does love him just because he wished for her to love him that's all it's totally wholesome and not at all creepy brainwashing and mind control enforced by magical beings"
