blast processing was marketing speak for "a faster CPU than the SNES" so your computer has blast processing. no need to thank me
@lynnesbian i love the fact that the "blast processing" was literally the only edge the megadrive had over the SNES, tech-wise. In every other aspect it was inferior. It couldn't handle graphics better at all and sure the Yamaha FM Synth chip the Megadrive had could do WAY better electric guitar songs than the SNES's sample based playback could do... but yeah... hands down the SNES was better.
(I had a megadrive as a kid. I don't hate it, but I do wish I'd had a SNES maybe.)
