today in "who fucking designed this": I made a tweet that's kept getting likes in batches of a dozen or two every few hours and got annoyed with the constant notifications to my phone
so I used Twitter's "Mute this conversation" feature on it
I now no longer see notifications of likes in my Notifications column but the push notifications are still coming
@theoutrider hellbird is a godawfully designed system and if it entirely burned down sure there'd be some casualties of good tweets but honestly I think it would be a net good.
