@Nine I think I understand your meaning but this is a turn of phrase that's very unfamiliar to us, what does "gone" mean in this context and why is it put in that position

Oh right! Sorry, the phrase is meant to mean "the time has gone past 1am", as in its later than that time.

As for why it's in that position, I genuinely don't know?? I'm not sure where I picked up that turn of phrase, but I'm like, fairly sure it's British English. It's possibly a Yorkshire dialect thing that I've picked up?
