@Nine yeah, thank for the input. I guess the thing is though I can't use the previous eyes, they're pretty much placeholders. I'm gonna see what they look like with lighting & effects and then go back to the drawing board
@LANthus it might just be emproved simply by adding a bit of a shading gradient to the blue? that might be enough to g ive it some life and depth
@LANthus To be fair I have difficulties telling subtle shades of colour apart c_c; usually red and greens due to colourblindness issues, but sometimes other colours too if the shades are similar enough D:
Back when I was a kid, i had these big chunky crayons and I could almost never tell the difference between the brown, black and blue, which caused some issues when trying to colour in a sky c_c;

@Nine well, I don't think its your colorblindness its a very subtle gradient shift that kind get muddied with the top and bottom shading I did.
