in all honesty UT3 was *almost* great, the maps were nice and some of the community maps are legit fantastic, but the general art direction of it is Just A Bit Shit (thanks, Gears of War)
@theoutrider There are like eight or nine times over the course of UT3's life that I have thought "eeehh maybe I'll get it, it's on suuuper sale, and heck I bet it plays better than the previous ones..." and then I look at the HUEG MARIENS and the horrid art direction and I just Nope The Fuck Out.
also there's no cute models/skins for the game still and that's just goddamn criminal at this fucking point >:|
@Nine I think it's because it also very much came out after the mainstream death of That Kind Of Game
I don't imagine it'll have done very well for Epic commercially
