so i rescued a couple sticks of memory from a skip today. 4gig sticks, DDR3, could come in handy
@Felthry Yeah this sorta thing I have no idea what they're called in other countries I'm afraid. https://www.wmrussell.co.uk/product/midi-skip-4-yard/
@Nine a dumpster?
@Felthry Maybe? I think that sorta implies rotting food waste tho. Skips are typically just for dry, non organic stuff
@Nine at least in our experience, "dumpster" is a catch-all term for any kind of thing you put trash in that's larger than a trash can
@Felthry basically a large heavy vessel which is transported by specialised trucks, and is often hired out so large amounts of debris from home or small business remodelling/refurbishing/construction can be loaded into it and taken away.
Or just lots of household/small business waste things like old dead computers and the like, it all goes back to a processing plant, gets sorted, dealt with.
@Nine a skip?
