thanks to the new Ninja Warriors trailer for reminding me that Natsume Inc. and Natsume Co.Ltd. stopped being part of the same company way back in 1995 (and the latter is now called Natsume-Atari, no relation to Atari)
which means i have some pedantic category cleanup to do on TCRF sometime in the future
@revenant I'm sorry, NEW Ninja Warriors trailer?!
@revenant well okay this looks pretty friggin rad.
Interesitng that they made the male "ninja" character more distinct from the "Kunoichi" one in that he's bigger, slower and stronger and uses nunchukau or however you spell that damn thing. Also five characters? Wha...
Oh neat there's one with blade arms that looks fairly balanced between the two! That's nice, wonder what they're going to do for -
ah...
smol booby lady with extendo arms. I see. and-
... okay now that's just taking the piss.
@revenant (also robots fighting against oppressive regimes, I am totally here for this)
@revenant SAME. Same same same same it's just like "what if... big beefy character... but BIGGER. BEEFIER. CHARACTERER!!!" and they jsut rolled with it, and I love it.
@revenant I have also yes played the SNES version adn itwas... pretty interesting actually, pretty good!
@Nine have you played the SNES/SFC version? this is a remake/remaster of that one if you haven't (the JP version was "Ninja Warriors Again" hence the title of this one)
yaksha and raiden are both new to this version though but the latter looks completely ridiculous and i love it
