heck this canon powershot sd1400IS has a full battery but the lens is... not working. it won't retract or extend fully so pressing the power button doesn't actually turn it on because it doesn't extend fully. it can't retract fully either, seems to jam right before it can.

UNLESS I press the play button, then it closes up perfectly
