Okay so
Mobile games often have ads right?
Ads are usually based on your searches and whatnot but you can usually choose to opt out of "personalised ads" for a lot of things?
Which I've done wherever possible.
This may be why I'm getting ads for an app called Wish which seems to be eBay for people who "found stuff that fell off the back of a truck and it's totally a legit Rolex I promise it's just a typo that makes it say Fauxlex" or cheap knock-off garbage.
@BatElite it might actually be a body suit? I'm not wholly sure. And I didn't really feel like tapping on the ad to be sure because I was like 99.9999% sure it wouldn't take me to those products...
That and I don't really want to give it the impression I'm paying ads any more than a cursory inspection
Sex toys
@Nine
Tired: titties in ads
Wired: cockrings in ads
:3
@Nine Mmhm
Reminds me of a neat video on this sort of shite (sfw, don't worry) because the nice pictures are often lifted too.
Some seamstress lady ordering and roasting a knockoff of her own hand-made dress. Should I link it later/should we watch it together sometime? :3
@BatElite you know, I THINK I've seen that one some time ago! It rings a bell in any case!
@Nine Hey we should watch sewing videos together. =w=
@BatElite ... Of course this does imply that it was the penis or the BDSM gear that made me actually LOOK at the ad in more detail, and while that's technically true it's only because the first time I reflexively closed the ad the moment it came up but my subconscious was like "hey I think that was a penis" and of course - mercifully - you can't UNclose a popup.
