still thinking occasionally about VA-11 Hall-A
that PC-98 aesthetic is so good. the music is great. the story is fun. it's like phoenix wright only there's no real fail-state exactly, you can just... mix drinks and get story and if you do well enough you can buy neat things to get more music tracks and whatnots but it's not really a 'game' exactly I guess??
but it's nice.
@Nine I'm inherently bored of cyberpunk as a concept but I love vallhalla because it gives a rare glimpse into characters in cyberpunk stories that have absolutely bugger all to do with whatever is happening in the news? you just play as a bartender in a hidden away bar and it's mostly just really chill as you read about other characters stories

Also it's just so... fucking dull.
VA-11 Hall-A has just... it has a goddamn robot girl, a catgirl with a cybernetic eye, someone who is basically a cop but she's absolutely in the wrong job and she's just trying her best and also a journalist who has MASSIVE "PICTURES OF SPIDERMAN" energy and just... so many good characters.
and also boss.
