first past the post is wild
people really be out here voting for a party they hate but are forced to vote for because voting independent is the same thing as not voting because first past the post is good enough and For Some Reason none of the parties that get in via FPTP want to get rid of FPTP
@lynnesbian what's mindboggling is that we actually had a referendum on the alternative voting system that woulda definitely improved things but because some chucklefuck explained it badly and that kept getting spread around instead of what it actually was, nobody fucking voted for it so we got stuck with FPTP or as I like to call it Fucking Politics are Terrible, Pal.
@Nine @lynnesbian the fact that the libdems were the ones pushing it after going into coalition with the torys didn't help
