Y'ever get thinking about how Cait Sith is just Reeves' fursona?
But also how both the Mog and Cait himself are robots that are remote control but... Also seem to have wills and memories of their own?
And like... After everything, Reeves isn't the one who hangs out with Cloud and Tifa and Barrett etc. It's Cait Sith. And they don't call him Reeves.
@Nine i always remember that time that cait sith wait behind in the temple of the ancients and the game and the character are treating it like a noble sacrifice as they get crushed to further the party's goals, and a minute or so later, a new cait sith just shows up. I always wonder if this was intended as humorous or something, lavishing this big "i'm happy to die for my friends" monologue with sad music on the character least likely to face real harm
@Farlow Oh my god though yeah I was REALlY confused at first because it was already explained Cait was just a robot and just remote control so nobody was in any real danger but the way Cait was talking as he went and sacrificed himself was like "uh... wait, is Reeves remote controlling Cait or is he just a robot and... uh..." and then he just... shows the heck up IMMEDIATELY after Cloud has his breakdown after giving Sephiroth the Black Materia like "YO Cait mark 2 here! What's u-oh crap."
