@envgen oh crap I forgot about this sort of "feature" of modern motherboards like... fuck I had to do so much research when I shifted to an intel chip (BOY HOWDY WAS THAT A BAD IDEA. I mean it was a good ide at the time but then that whole thing with the hardware level exploit came out and uuuUGHHH)
@envgen but yeah I had to fuckin figure out whether an H, B or Z or DEFGHI or whatever chipset was best for the specific model chip I was using and aaaaaaaaaa god it is so fuckin'..
why can't it be simpler but NOOoope. nope gotta be fuckin' complicated because magic rocks make computer box fast but gotta be the RIGHT magic rocks. heck.
@envgen it's okay i have this conversation with myslef every damn time i upgrade my pc ._.; i just wanna slap bits together to make a working pc but apparently that's Just Not Done these days and you gotta work out the RIGHT kinda chip. no not that identical chip, the OTHER chip that looks EXACTLY THE SAME but has a + sign after it because FUCK YOU that's why.
I'll try and help out and split the load of work for you tho! You know what kinda processor you after? we can start there at least.
