i love those dinky li'l mini cds they're so cute
and the colour, and the design too. just... kinda a shame about the lack of a proper HD cable. good gamepads tho.

(It was also my "is a child and will play shit over and over again" console, but still. Good games.)

There *is* an HD (well, 480p is hd for the time) cable available, it's just ridiculously expensive because it was only released in japan and in limited numbers, and since it has a coprocessor on the cable it can't be replicated
you can, however, play gamecube games on a gc-compatible wii in 480p mode
