@monorail apparently they're legit (sorta) "solar powered". When they nap, their body temperature lowers, so they like to do so somewhere nice and warm, such as a tv, computer, bed, in a sunbeam, cuddled up with each other etc, to keep themselves at a nice temperature while napping.
