@Nine yeah but shrooms are pretty common at like ~5th and lower, and where else on the second half of the track are you going to use it? might as well save it

though, that makes shocks even better on this track

@Nine thundershock item. targets everyone in the room other than you, shrinks them and spins them out, causing them to drop their item. the only way to avoid it is to already be in an invincible state by using a star or a bullet bill

it's already very good on mushroom gorge because there are a lot of jumps, making target shocks really effective. that's when you watch the minimap to see when a specific opponent is going to be most inconvenienced by a shock and using it exactly then
