So I have Veronica following me around, of course as I am wandering around trying to get to this quest marker, when outta nowhere, a single solitary Legion Assassin comes up behind me and is like
"THE CAESAR HAS MARKED YOU FOR DEATH, AND THE LEGION OBEYS!"
Which swings my view around to face him.
He is on his own.

Coming back to this specific post god I wish I had the wherewithal and the software to have done a capture of that segment I would have absolutely spent the time to edit that clip so that the moment Veronica punches the legion assassin in the back of the head and causes him to recoil from the damage, I'd cut to Roundabout by Yes and do that To Be Continued Jojo meme thing lol
