@mint@elekk.xyz hi fucking five for saying what needed to be said about Seven Samurai as a film. I love it, honestly. But the main characters are the first two you see, specifically largely the young, eager wannabe-samurai following the old ronin wanderer.
AND YET
The most interesting characters are all the OTHER side characters, most of which die, and the peasants whose village is being defended.
Kikuchiyo gets a special mention because holy fuck, when the mill is burned down... christ...
