So apparently someone at some point said that they don't like RPGs because random encounters with the same enemies over and over are boring, and RPG fans seem to be extremely up in arms about it??
Listen, I'm an RPG fan, Final Fantasy 3 is my favourite, but this opinion is still correct. RPGs are good DESPITE this, not because of it. Arguably Dragon Quest is the only series that does it... not right, but better
@socks mostly I can't stand a lot of RPGs because random encounters do not mix well with my goblin brain and every time a battle interrupts things it is jarring and frustrating and makes me jump and I lose all friggin track of what I was doing and it is torturous because it's lik ea sudden interruption in the game I was playing.
