right okay I've gottne some work done today at least
and my reserach for said work has made sure my search history is ... alarming to say the least ._.;
i swear whoever is looking into that, i'm a writer I have not the money wherewithal time or even inclination to be doing any of that stuff, i just wanna write RPG games.
@Nine
which of these stuff are you less inclined to do?
just curious :)
@goodvibes i mean honestly i ended up looking up the production methods, in depth, of at least two highly illegal and dangerous drugs, plus the location of a military base on the east coast of america, AND the distance to said state, from another state quite a distance away.
all for research into details of an adventure that's being produced for a game I've helped write lol.
genuinely think I should start adding "i'm a writer i swear this is for research" to all my search terms just in case.
@Nine
You're RPG scenario writer?
@goodvibes I'm an RPG writer! Sins the Roleplaying Game is one I helped create from the ground up. My partner is the other lead writer ^^
@goodvibes Yep that's the one! And i dunno if you want my life either to be honest. .-.;
@goodvibes on the upside tho it took me most of my life to find this situation and even now I'm still figuring out so much stuff that i wish I could have figured out back when I was a teenager. :<
@Nine
How would you rate your life in a scale from 1 to 10?
@goodvibes ennh... I dunno I'm uncomfortable with that honestly. Like, there's no way for me to be objective about that. Others have it worse, others have it better, in the end if you had my life and I had yours, ... you'd just be me, and I'd just be you, and thus it wouldn't change anything for either of our perspectives. We are after all the sum of our experiences.
@Nine
Of course you are right. I'm just kidding in asking that question.
There is a somewhat weird trend in society that dictate us to "improve ourselves" or "reach happiness". This is very confusing when you think about it cause happiness if it exist should reach you more than you reach it?
@Nine
In my mind, your life is really awesome. I mean you have a partner AND a job AND your job is awesome AND your partner is contributing to your awesome job.
As a single computer scientist I can only envy that.
