the Dizzy games were like, bloody everywhere when I was a kid. Like, it's such a simple, ridiculous character design. Take an egg. put a face on it. give it boxing gloves and combat boots. Done.

And that little egg sold hundreds, thousands of copies of games in their series.

Not just on the Spectrum but across a whole bunch of them, some even on consoles like the NES and Sega Master System!

So "Eggs with Legs" I suppose is a familiar concept to me, but it still makes me giggle.
