The Famicom version of Rampart seems more interesting than the NES version and also the arcade version.
@behold3r Are there versions of it without multiplayer? In the console versions it's limited to 2 people but it's there, at least.
I haven't tried its two-player mode yet, but the Famicom version's one-player mode seems like it adds in themes more interesting than "medieval" if nothing else, and the hazards you protect against seem more fun.
@NovaSquirrel I know GB lacks it and I think some non-ibm PC? I thought NES does too but guess I was wrong. Let me correct my statement to 3-way-multiplayer then, as I never enjoyed it in two people. Needs three IMO 🤷
@NovaSquirrel I always considered multiplayer the main thing of Rampart/s and the versions without just felt weak
