ive been programming for maybe a decade and im only just learning how to actually do unit testing,
@PolyCement While I've known about it via college, I've only done unit testing on a single project of my own and that was a processor.
That was a situation where making an unrelated thing fail unintentionally was an actual risk, because the entire thing was composed of small parts interacting.
@NovaSquirrel oddly i wasnt even taught it at university, i didnt really encounter it first-hand until it was tacked onto the java course i used to teach a couple years ago, where it caused nothing but trouble for everyone involved
