My internet just got a 100x boost, gigabit cable via Spectrum! Now my EdgeRouter is the unable to keep up. CPU was pegging at 280mbps due to packet stats, turned off and now managing 466mbps. Did tons of research and decided on Synology RT2600AC which arrives next week.
Odd this router is so high in demand but not available anywhere but online.

No such risk here - just FTTC, so we're limited by the cabinet-house run.
Though even with a humble connection, wonders may happen - my first DSL was a massive 256/128kbits. ^_^; Still managed over 100GB on one favorite tracker in a month. =:)
Hopefully no traffic caps/shaping in place?
