Some not okay things have happened to me in the last 24 hours. I don't know why I'm even posting anything here but I guess it's to help me feel less alone. I got in my car and drove away for a time, but ultimately I have no where else to go and had to come back. I managed to speak with someone at a women's charity who thankfully were open on Christmas Eve, but ultimately I'm stuck in a situation for the foreseeable.
Christmas feels ruined. There will be no celebration for me tomorrow.

I can't know what "not okay" means to you, but whatever it was, I'm sorry it happened. I also can't know what situation you're stuck in, but if it's unsafe, I hope you decide to call someone - anyone, even if it's a co-worker you chat with - to see if there's somewhere safer you can be, even for a night.
