Yes it took me 33 years to realize I'm trans but it also took me 20+ years to realize that nobody outside my family pronounces "sherbet" like it's spelled "sherbret" so maybe it just takes me time to figure stuff out

I gave up years ago, and just went with "sorbet".
Yeah, it's a different thing, but no one notices.
