A teacher was injured in a shooting after a 6 y/o student opened fire during an altercation in a 1st grade classroom at Richneck Elementary School, in Virginia.
The unidentified teacher, described as being in her 30s was transported to local hospital.
The extent of her injuries is not known, her injuries are considered life-threatening but there was some improvement in the last update.
No students were injured in the shooting.
The unidentified suspect is in custody.
