I spent 3 years of my childhood living in American military bases in Germany. The whole time I was there, I never saw a single German "honor their heritage" by waving Nazi flags or erecting Nazi statues. Not one. Because unlike certain Americans, Germans don't put evil on literal pedestals.

It's against the law in Germany to use Nazi symbolism or paraphernalia. The racists there use the Confederate flag to advertise.
