I think we've all done things in our "youth" we wish we hadn't. I know in my early military career I did some spectacularly craptastic stuff I wouldn't mind taking back but don't carry guilt over them, I just vowed to do better.

One thing I still regret, despite being forgiven years later by the soldier involved, was my failure to stand up to the powers that be and be strong in the moment.

There is one person I'd like to have been better to, in high school. No one was decent, and I wasn't worse than any of the rest, but I should have known better. I should have done better. I try to do better now.
