During the first weeks Covid pandemic when we weren't 100% sure power stations would continue to run I seem to have tooled up on powerbanks but also three devices with cranks to power mobile phones and a little bit of solar. #powerbank
@Dr_BoAbrahamsen
I bought a foldable solar power charger for my earthquake kit. It'll generate enough power to charge a laptop or phone, and has adapters so it's universal. Also a few bottle of gas, a camp grill, some pots and pans, a french press coffee maker, and a hand crank coffee bean grinder.
If I'm going to face the apocalypse, I'm doing it caffeinated.

"earthquakes, mudslides and wildfires though they probably don't happen in the same location"
They actually do. The wildfires bake the ground, creating a crust so the rain can't soak in, which causes flooding and mudflows. Earthquakes happen everywhere because the San Andreas runs the length of the state, with lots of little tributary faults branching off it. The hills above Montecito had bad wildfires, and that's what created the conditions for the disaster a few years ago.
