If the GQP gets control of the executive and legislative branches before the party has been thoroughly fumigated democracy is over. And until at least 3 justices are replaced, we have to be very nervous about anything going to SCOTUS. The controlling majority are fascists, and they don't try to hide it.
A significant portion of the blame must fall on the Democratic Party with its reach-across-the-aisle we-need-a-strong-Republican-Party strategy of normalization of GOP behavior.
Democrats will *never* convince voters to vote blue until they stop this insanity.
And that would have been a perfectly valid point to make - in 2014. They no longer do that. Even Biden - who I hesitated to vote for, because he was known as a "reach across the aisle" guy - has given us Dark Brandon, who calls out the Republicans by name. So the Dems have learned. Have you?
