We enjoyed several #monarch butterflies last year. The milkweed all survived the winter, so we're looking forward to more this year. This one crawled onto my hand to expand its wings and let them harden - it tested my patience to hold still that long.
@ScottSoCal our native narrow leaf all died back, but we still have some non-native milkweeds (I hear mixed things about keeping it, but we do cut it way back to reduce possible disease transmission.)
