Solid-state drive, not the kind with a motor and discs (the old kind). SSDs use much less power - like a thumb drive.
@ScottSoCal sure, USB flash drives or SSDs would work as well (and would probably make more sense), but HDDs, or like in this case, a 3.5" USB floppy drive with floppy is more fun π
