To be clear, Clarence Thomas isn't sitting at the kitchen table with TurboTax. At this level, he's got accountants and lawyers, and there is zero chance that he didn't understand what signing documents 'under penalty of perjury' meant. These were nothing more than attempts to conceal bribes, mired in his firm belief that he'd never be held accountable.

Republicans should be the ones to push him out.

*Without* accountants and attorneys, he's a justice on the highest court in the country. If he doesn't know what "under penalty of perjury" means, he has to resign.

or be impeached ... im surprised garland has not appointed yet a special investigator ...

@KFClinton @dibi58 @ScottSoCal @TonyStark via @GottaLaff A reminder that last term, Justice Thomas authored the opinion that says *when your state-appointed lawyer* fails to introduce evidence of your innocence in state court, that's *your fault* - and it's illegal for a federal court to consider the evidence

@LMH174 @dibi58 @ScottSoCal @TonyStark @GottaLaff

I saw that news today and it was a horrific opinion.

Someone going to jail for any time, let alone for decades or the death penalty, because their lawyer made an error is insane.
