I have a smart watch, with a timer function. A load of wash is 50 minutes, a load in the dryer is 70 minutes. If I don't set the timer, I'll completely forget that I was doing laundry.

I think its fair to say I need one of these.

We just got a "smart" dryer. Obviously it can't be THAT smart, given that you still physically need to load, unload, empty water and clean filters, but it does send a push notification to my phone when the cycle finishes.
As the dryer is in an outhouse, it's easy to forget otherwise.
