Beans ground in a stainless steel burr grinder, grinds put in a metal mesh basket, drip coffee maker into a thermal carafe, so the last bit is still hot without having to overcook the coffee on a warming plate. Half & half, not milk (too watery) or cream (too thick). No sugar.

I have a french press, but it's stored in the earthquake kit, next to the hand coffee grinder. I'll pull the rubble off the crushed remains of the fridge to get my half & half.
