I'm an outlier. My strengths/quirks make me a good fit for niche jobs with a small supply of candidates. I just acknowledge that I'm an outlier, and my personal experience doesn't reflect the opportunities available to the general public.
@ScottSoCal @StillIRise1963 it is also exposing you to carcinogens daily, I guess much less if you're living in a place you can afford with your buying power. But then there's the understanding that you are thriving while others must fail to thrive so that the system continues. The violence of capitalism isn't only financial deprivation.
