Garland was offered by Mitt Romney as a compromise candidate the (at the time) Republican Senate would confirm to the Supreme Court. When he never even got a vote, he became a Cause. That's how he got DOJ - pushing from Dems with short memories, who had forgotten Romney's and the GQP's role in his notoriety.

it's much simpler when you accept that Dems dont really want to shake things up. they view our political climate like it's still the 50s. i'll still vote for them bc there is no alternative, but they suck.
let's not forget either, ALL the dem presidents we've had -- we have NEVER had a dem head of the FBI. it's all such a joke.
