So we've talked about higher pain threshold, and missing injuries because we just don't feel them, but today was a new one.
Since the medical crap last month I've been working up to my usual routine - a 5 mile walk in the early morning. This morning I came home, sat for a while, went upstairs to take a shower, and found one of my socks bloody from about the middle of the arch to the toes. Who knew? Not me. Woops.

@ScottSoCal @actuallyautistic Definitely one of those time that nerves doing nerve stuff would be nice. You OK?

I'm fine. Turned out to be a sloppy nail-trimming job, and a jagged bit of a toenail cut the next toe over. Next time I'll pay more attention, and round the edges of the toenails when I trim them.

I’m dealing with something somewhat similar. I just got all my wisdom teeth removed at once, and I’m feeling really weird and off. Now I have to play the game β€œWhat is this feeling?”
β€œIs it hunger?” Nope. β€œIs it pain?” Probably not, but possibly. β€œIs it just me being tired?” Who knowsβ€½

I’m just gonna have to allow myself to feel whatever it is I’m feeling till it goes away.
