Mine usually get to the pain point. 2-3 hours after the aura starts, I have to be curled up in a blacked-out room, hoping to die. This one left me with a mild headache for a couple of days, but I had ataxia and vertigo so bad I had to crawl from my car to the house, I couldn't stand up. If I'd been further away from home, I don't know what would have happened.
@ScottSoCal @pathfinder @darkfox @actuallyautistic I get regular migraine occassionally ( severe headache, photophobia, nausea, have to just sleep) but when I was pregnant I got hormone related vestibular migraine non stop for 3 months. Severe vertigo, too nauseous to eat, excessive vomiting (also had hyperemesis), but no headache; was horrendous. Was in hospital on a drip to hydrate a lot. Even when lying down the world kept tilting violently.
