So, I know autistic people are often thought to have few friends. I ain't the best at keeping close contact with people, and only have a handful of friends, but I see quite a lot of autistic people here and in contact.
So I wanted to ask, how many friends do y'all have?

From past experience, I don't categorize people as friends, usually. I have several acquaintances, people I might go to a restaurant or a movie with, but friends are a different category. Friends are people I wouldn't worry about cleaning the house and making everything "just right" before they get here.

I don't tend to clean when people come to fix something in the house, but if I actually like someone I'll actually tidy up enough for them to take up space usually reserved for the "nests" that accrue around me.
When people are coming over, I don't "tidy up", I rip the house apart, clean all the pieces, then rebuild it.
