I freely admit I'm an "outside looking in" cis-guy, but it seems like "trans issues" are the issues created by people who have a problem with trans people. I mean, y'all just living your life and doing your best, like the rest of us, and some gomer comes in and starts telling you what is and isn't. Nobody needs that.
@ScottSoCal@computerfairi.es @erininstereo@tech.lgbt If only more people saw it your way, my guy. Most of them certainly are.
Not all though. Dysphoria is a real issue. And it would still be an issue even if it weren't for bigots. It would just be far easier to deal with if people weren't bigots.
Accessible Healthcare in America is also an entirely separate issue that just happens to also impact trans people, and would still be an issue is transphobia didn't exist. But would still be an issue for trans people.
However, cis folks like you speaking up in support of our community is always welcome and, in fact, encouraged! Allies are immensely helpful and encouraging, so please keep being one!
