I feel like I'm less impressed or intimidated by famous people than most other people. They're just people, right?

Not being intuitively aware of, or respectful of social hierarchy is very much an autistic thing.
One of the reasons why autistic children are always getting into trouble for asking their teachers questions.
We don't intuitively understand that questions can seem like you're questioning authority.

And don't understand the idea that authority can and sometimes should be questioned.
Especially when the authority is wrong.
