I think one of the ways I could help improve modern society is figuring out a way to have Hot Desking categorized as hostile architecture

Folks, it fucking sucks so bad

@kirkmanbrandon my job at a call center was basically that. Every day a different desk, headphones and more. It sucked!

@SteelWool @srol It's such an awful tango you have to play with upper management when they ask about disliking it or even criticizing it. I can't just say "it's terrible" or "it's extremely dehumanizing" because I will not sound like a good cog but I also will never say I like it. It's such a clear sign they want to cut cost and don't give a shit about the employees but once again, you can not say that to them

@kirkmanbrandon @SteelWool I mean, I could go three layers of management up and I still wouldn't have reached the people making the decisions on this

@srol @SteelWool Also true, I work for a train travel company (it is a fairly neat job!) but we're owned by a UK travel company that calls the shots and hates humans, it really seems, and it is a labyrinth to figure out who is making any of the calls on this stuff
