Is developing a Minecraft mod in 2023 worth it with how Microsoft is handling things?

@SteelWool oh, yes. Totally. But it might be some years until the game comes out
@Schaf in the meantime we got Vintage Story! It's a more hands-on experience compared to Minecraft and the official modding tools for the game are really neat
@SteelWool same. They looked like they were so ready to release in a year. But then came investmentmoney which opened the doors to sell it bigger multiplatform
