the only thing that i don't get from this whole linux slopping it up thing is that some people seem to think that the linux kernel isn't already a steaming turd?
clearly they've never had to use an AMD graphics card.
for example, suspend hasn't worked reliably for so long that i now never even try anymore. that's because the radeon driver has absolutely no concept of lifecycle and they pile hacks on top of hacks. and that's just one of the more obvious things.
