Read an article about Mastdon, and then made the mistake of reading the comments. One of them can be paraphrased as such:
"The problem with federated systems is that one admin can quickly become a dictator, in centralized systems you at least have accountability!"
I'm not sure whether that person was high or... dunno... reading too much Ayn Rand?
Either way, probably an Ancap

There were a lot more comments (why do I do this to myself?) along the lines of "blocking whole instances violates my free speech and is evil!", so the original commenter I saw might have been a Trumpist instead of an Ancap... 💀
