I hate phone-based 2FA 😦
How can it be so fucking hard to implement a decent One-Time-Password regimen!?
@Tobi This bad practice is exactly what made me hate 2FA when I first heard of it. I'm not giving companies my phone, and for a couple years I didn't even have one. So basically my accounts were all locked until these idiots remembered email exists.
@alice I'm really considering getting a cheap phone with a prepaid contract just for 2FA...
@alice Or better yet, a dedicated SMS + TOTP device 🤔
