I'm listening to a friend's podcast whom I've been listening to for years and there's lots of problems about it that annoys me.

Hearing background noises (people drinking out of glasses), people's audio quality varies, 2+ minute long intros/outros, bad transitions to commercials...

The last few episodes had audible Skype notification sounds.

I wanna say to him "dude your podcast kinda sucks and needs improvement" but I'm not that harsh.

This is primarily because the main host had a falling out with one of his previous co-hosts for doing a more popular podcast (with Dana Snyder) so he decided to get a new host and resume as if nothing really happened.

The new co-host ain't bad but the only reason I used to listen to the show was because of the previous co-host.

Even ignoring the co-host change, the quality has taken a significant dip. It's a bummer, really.

Bonus annoyance: The host (and said friend) is clearly going full hog on the "podcast network" bandwagon.

Like when the Feral Audio fiasco happened, he was subtly hinting at shows from there to come to his network.

It just feels like SEO brand garbage and it makes me ill.

For some reason this reminds me of the time when somebody joined TCRF to pimp his dumb video review on a game on said game's article and got banned for it.

Then the staff dug a bit deeper and turns out he was basically one of those SEO marketing dirtbags.
